Dancing On Ice finalist Ryan Thomas has shared his one big fear as his last skate of the contest looms this Sunday. Actor Ryan, 39, has achieved the incredible feat of making it to the tough ITV contest's final alongside Adele Roberts, Greg Rutherford and Miles Nazaire, but he is still battling the fear of face planting on the ice. Coronation Street star Ryan is no stranger to falling on the show, as he took a tumble twice in his performances with Amani Fancy, but worries the ice could still get the better of him this weekend.
A nervous Ryan said: "You’ve seen me fall before, you may see it agin. We’re just going to try and enjoy it. It’s the final now, it is what it is, it’s up to the public and what will be will be.
I’ve just go to go out there and enjoy it." "I have put 100% into the show," he added. "I just need to get through the performance without falling, without any mistakes. I just need a clean performance.
And anything after that is just a complete and utter bonus." But Ryan showed his competitive side as he admitted: "I'm not going to lie it would be lovely (to win) because my mate Chris Fountain came second. So if I came first, I would love to say to him, 'you came second and I came first!'" If the worst does happen for Ryan on Sunday, he at least knows he'll have the support of his fans which he says has been his favourite part of Dancing On Ice. "When I fell over and the audience cheered me on, and then I fell over again and they really got behind me, that's the reason that I got up and carried on the routine.
