Joseph D’Agostino, formerly of Cymbals Eat Guitars, has revealed the new release date for his first Empty Country album. The self-titled record arrives April 24 on Get Better. It includes the previously shared “Ultrasound” and “Marian,” as well as a new track titled “SWIM.” Hear it below.

RJD2 has announced his first new album in four years. It’s called The Fun Ones and it’s out April 17 via his own Electrical Connections label. He’s also shared the lead single “Pull Up on Love,” featuring STS and Khari Mateen. Check out the accompanying music video below.

The experimental Cape Town producer Angel-Ho, who co-founded the now-defunct NON Worldwide collective with Chino Amobi and Nkisi, is back with a new album. Despite wearing the loudest outfit in an arena crammed with 7,500 Bernie Sanders fans, Julian Casablancas didn’t have much to say about the Democratic Senator from Vermont. The Strokes were the headline entertainment at Sanders’ latest presidential campaign rally on Monday night at the University of New Hampshire in Durham, and Casablancas took to the stage dressed like a lounge lizard who’d just teleported from a Comic-Con in Atlantic City.

After announcing its release date at last night’s Bernie Sanders rally in New Hampshire, the Strokes have detailed their first album in seven years. The New Abnormal, produced by Rick Rubin, arrives April 10 via Cult/RCA. Neil Hagerty has announced a new album as the Howling Hex. The record is called Knuckleball Express and it arrives April 17 (via Fat Possum). According to press materials, Hagerty recorded the LP at his home in Denver over eight days. It features contributions from guitarist Nicole Lawrence and producer Clay Jones. New York experimental quartet altopalo have announced their sophomore album. It’s called farawayfromeveryoneyouknow and it arrives April 24 via Samedi. Ahead of the new record, they’ve shared the new single “honey,” as well as a string of North American tour dates.
