Chuck D and Public Enemy Radio performed at Senator Bernie Sanders’ rally in Los Angeles last night, where they played classics like “Fight the Power,” “Can’t Truss It,” “Bring the Noise,” “Shut ’Em Down,” and more. Sarah Silverman and Dick Van Dyke were also present at the event.

Rap veteran Flavor Flav has fired off a cease-and-desist notice to U.S. presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders to quit using Public Enemy’s name and his likeness in campaign propaganda.

Bernie Sanders has recruited Public Enemy for his latest rally. The Democratic presidential hopeful will appear at Los Angeles Convention Center on Sunday, March 1 alongside the iconoclastic rap group. Los Angeles punk icon Alice Bag—formerly of the Bags—is back with a new album. Sister Dynamite is out April 24 via In the Red. She’s also shared a new song called “Breadcrumbs,” which arrives with a new video featuring the Bob Baker Marionette Theater. Watch it below. Bernie Sanders is making his way through the country for the rest of February, hosting rallies and speaking events in the hope of rallying as much support as he can in his bid for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination. Last night, he held a rally in Houston, Texas, in which he spoke to supporters and hosted guest speaker Marianne Williamson, who strongly endorsed Sanders’ bid.

Portugal. The Man are the latest band to feel the Bern. The group announced over the weekend that they will join democratic presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders at a huge rally in Tacoma, Washington, at the Tacoma Dome on on Monday night (Feb. 17). The event will also feature an appearance from actor/activist Tim Robbins and Rep. Pramila Jayapal.
