Ian MacKaye’s band Coriky announce debut album – listen to new song ‘Clean Kill’

Sonic Boom, the Spacemen 3 co-founder and producer born Peter Kember, has stayed busy in the past few years. Now, following collaborations with artists including Panda Bear, Beach House, MGMT, and No Joy, Kember has announced his first Sonic Boom album since 1989’s Spectrum.

Gone West, featuring Colbie Caillat, have announced the release of their debut project Canyons, due June 12. All 13 songs featured on the project were written by the quartet, which includes Caillat, Jason Reeves, Nelly Joy and Justin Kawika Young. Today (March 3), Billboard premieres “Slow Down,” the album’s first instant grat track.

Jarvis Cocker has announced the debut album from his new band JARV IS…: Beyond the Pale is out May 1 (via Rough Trade). One week after the Dixie Chicks teased new song “Gaslighter” on social media, the country trio have revealed that the track will be available March 4. In a snippet posted to social media on Friday afternoon (Feb. 28), Dixie Chicks announce “Gaslighter” will drop in March alongside the definition of the word.

The Strokes are back with another new track, “Bad Decisions.” They previously performed the song at a Bernie Sanders rally in New Hampshire. Neil Hagerty has announced a new album as the Howling Hex. The record is called Knuckleball Express and it arrives April 17 (via Fat Possum). According to press materials, Hagerty recorded the LP at his home in Denver over eight days. It features contributions from guitarist Nicole Lawrence and producer Clay Jones.
