After realizing that her comments might have not been true, Rosario released a statement about them on Twitter.
“I can’t be trusted!” she told fans on social media, adding that “getting intel from fans during signings is iffy apparently. My bad.”
However, Rosario still seems excited about the thought of Jon returning one day.
“I get excited….confirmation is key when you’re told what you want to hear…”
If you’re unaware, Jon made his MCU debut as The Punisher in Daredevil.
Also known as former Marine Frank Castle, he sets out to avenge the death of his family. After his appearance on Daredevil, Jon received his own Marvel series, The Punisher, which lasted at Netflix for two seasons from 2017 to 2019.
Rosario will next be seen in Ahsoka, a Star Wars series, on Disney+.

But the actor, who stars in upcoming films “Breaking” and “The Woman King,” doesn’t have much of an interest in returning to the galactic franchise. “At this point I’m cool off it. I’m good off it,” Boyega said on SiriusXM’s “Tell Me Everything With John Fugelsang.” “I think Finn is at a good confirmation point where you can just enjoy him in other things, the games, the animation. But I feel like ‘[Episode] VII’ to ‘[Episode] IX’ was good for me.” Boyega added: “To be fair, [with] the allies that I’ve found within Joel Taylor and Jamie Foxx, Teyonah Parris, Viola Davis, all these people I’ve been working with… versatility is my path.”
