Magnum P.I. star Roger E. Mosley had died aged 83.The actor’s daughter, Ch-a Mosley, confirmed the news of his passing on social media.
She penned yesterday, August 7: “Roger E. Mosley, my father, your friend, your “coach Mosley” your “TC” from Magnum P.I., passed away at 1:17am. He was surrounded by family as he transcended peacefully.
We could never mourn such an amazing man. “He would HATE any crying done in his name. It is time to celebrate the legacy he left for us all.
I love you daddy. You loved me too. My heart is heavy but I am strong.
I will care for mommy, your love of almost 60 years. You raised me well and she is in good hands. Rest easy.” Roger is survived by his wife of 60 years Antoinette Laudermick, and their three children.
According to Forbes, the actor’s death comes after the late 83 year old was involved in a car crash. The collinson’s said to have occurred on August 4 and left Roger “paralysed from the shoulders down” and later died at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. He was best known for his time on American crime series Magnum P.I., which he was a staple of for eight years alongside Tom Selleck.
He also starred in films such as A Thin Line Between Love and Hate, Letters from a Killer and The Greatest, as well as TV series Rude Awakening and Walker, Texas Ranger. Following his Magnum P.I. exit in 1988, he went on to make cameos on the hit crime show as recent as last year.
