Rochelle Humes has broken her silence on her future at This Morning during an Instagram Q&A as ITV continues to search for a new co-star to join Holly Willoughby. Rochelle Humes, 34, was asked by fans if she would be co-hosting the show again, before confirming to her followers that she will be making a return to the hit ITV show as a relief presenter. The former Saturdays singer, who has spent some time away from the show, confirmed that she will be making a return, as she said: “Yes, I’m back in the summer”.
Rochelle, who has been working with ITV for almost a decade, shared her thoughts after Phillip Schofield stepped down from his long-term position due to an “unwise but not illegal” affair with a younger male colleague. Shortly after Phillip left, the mum of three took to social media where she said: “I've proudly been part of the This Morning family for almost 10 years and over the last few, it has been an absolute pleasure learning so much from you.
"Thanks for all the lessons - you are a fountain of knowledge and laughter." GB News has reported that ITV bosses are still searching for a permanent replacement since Phillip left. OK! has contacted ITV representatives for comment.
Since Phillip’s dramatic departure, Holly has been joined by several stand-in hosts over the past month including Josie Gibson, Dermot O’Leary and Craig Doyle. However, the star took some time out last weekend and left "life's worries and responsibilities" behind as she enjoyed a weekend at Glastonbury Festival.
