Ten-year-old George - who is a well-known football fan - had to prioritise his education at Lambrook School in Berkshire. Prince William, who turns 42 today (12 June), was spotted having a laugh with King Frederik X of Denmark in the stands during the game on Thursday, 20 June, which ended in a disappointing draw.
Unlike William, the Danish King brought along his daughter, Princess Josephine, 13, to the match, who was spotted in the stands wearing a red and white striped T-shirt and navy blazer. Princess Josephine later posed between William and her father for a photo that was shared on the social media account of the Prince and Princess of Wales.
The caption read: "May the best team win", reports the Express.
The Prince of Wales, who is also the president of the Football Association, was among thousands of England fans cheering on the team against Denmark in the second group stage game of the Euros. Kensington Palace confirmed that William would be at the Frankfurt Arena on 20 June, the day before his birthday, to support Gareth Southgate's team.
