It's now been 10 years since Tim Metcalfe arrived on the cobbles as he reunited with his daughter Faye Windass. The ITV soap character, played by Joe Duttine, made his first appearance in Weatherfield after being contacted by his then-10-year-old daughter.

He played a police officer called DS Carr who arrested Gail McIntyre on suspicion of murdering her husband, Joe. Meanwhile, his actual TV debut was in the series Between the Lines in 1992. He went on to star in Pie in the Sky, The Time of Your Life, Silent Witness, and Serious and Organised, opposite Martin
