Coronation Street star Samia Longchambon has been flooded with congratulatory messages after she was revealed as the winner of Cooking with the Stars. The actress was one of several famous faces who signed up to the latest series of the ITV competition show hosted by Emma Willis and Tom Allen.
Joining Samia, who is famed for playing Maria Windass in the ITV soap, in the cooking challenge was actor Jason Watkins, boxing legend Chris Eubank, actress Joanna Page, singer and television personality Peter Andre, Busted’s Matt Willis, Steps’ Claire Richards and Love Island star Indiyah Polack.
The show sees the contestants are paired with a cooking professional and go through eight rounds of cheffing, as they try to impress the judges - the professional chefs - with their creations. The judges never knew whose food they were tasting, which meant they could vote out their own celebrity protégé that they had been mentoring.

After being crowned the winner following a cook-off with Peter after they were chosen as the final two half-way through the final hour-long episode, Samia took to social media to celebrate her win.
Sharing a picture of herself and her chef mentor, Michelin star French chef Jean-Christophe posing with their trophy, Samia penned: "So proud to finally be able to say we won #cookingwiththestars. A million thank yous to
