Prince William and Kate share some adorable and sauce nicknames for each other including one 'gentle dig' which was inspired by the late Queen, one royal author has claimed.
Tom Quinn, author of "Gilded Youth: An Intimate History of Growing Up in the Royal Family", said he was told by palace staff that, just "like all couples", William and Kate have sweet nicknames they use to address each other, reports the Mirror.

Quinn's book - which examines the traditional upbringing of the Royal Family - was written after he spoke to palace staff, historical sources and royal insiders about the going's on of the family.
During an interview with Fox News Digital, the author revealed that "it's not all sweetness" and the couple have "terrible rows where they throw things at each other".
He said: "Kate might seem to be a very calm person, and William also. But it's not always true. Because the big stress for William and Kate is that they're constantly surrounded by [palace aides]. It's like a Jane Austen novel."
The author added that Catherine is
