Prince Harry's new Netflix doc Heart of Invictus sees Duke make emotional family statement

The first trailer for Prince Harry's new Netflix series Heart of Invictus has been released as he makes a poignant statement about family. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex signed multiple lucrative contracts with media giants Spotify and Netflix following their departure from the Royal Family in 2020.
The couple was axed from their deal with the music streaming firm earlier this year after Meghan's 12-episode podcast series, Archetypes, aired last year. But their Netflix deal appears to be going strong as Heart of Invictus marks the third project the couple has worked on with the media subscription company.
Following their explosive docuseries, Harry & Meghan, which aired last year, Heart of Invictus focuses on the competitors taking part in Harry's inspirational event, The Invictus Games, and will be available to stream on Netflix from August 30.
The trailer for the show starts with a poignant speech that Harry gave at the opening ceremony of the games in the Netherlands last year. Footage from the games is then shown alongside Harry, where he says: "If your goal was to make your country proud, you've done it.
"If your goal was to make your family happy, you've achieved it. You are people of substance, of resilience, of strength, you have the heart of Invictus."
The trailer comes just a week after Harry said he "can’t wait" for the next Invictus Games in Germany next month, vowing the 2023 tournament will be the best yet. In a video message, Harry wished the teams competing good luck and described how everyone is on a continual “healing journey”.
Harry said in his video message: “I can’t wait to see all of you and have the whole community together once again. It’s been too long.”
He added: “You’re all on different parts of
