Prince George might only still be a kid, but his future within the Royal family has already been mapped out for him as second-in-line to the throne similar to his father, Prince William, who is set to become future King one day.
It appears George who is set to turn 10 later this month is already being geared up for the role as monarch. The nine-year-old was given a prominent role as a page of honour at his grandfather King Charles' Coronation just recently.
His parents, William and Princess Kate Middleton, are currently trying to 'balance' his life as a prominent future royal figure according to reports in the Mirror, with their desires for him to have a normal childhood alongside his siblings Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
The Prince and Princess of Wales reportedly picked a "controlled moment of their choice" according to a book to talk to their son George about his future which came at a landmark point in his life.
In his biography Battle of Brothers, royal expert and historian Robert Lacey claims George was told about his destiny around the time he turned seven in the summer of 2020. He wrote: "William has not revealed to the world how and when he broke the big news to his son.
"Maybe one day George will tell us the story himself. But sometime around the boy’s seventh birthday in the summer of 2020, it is thought that his parents went into more detail about what the little prince’s life of future royal 'service and duty' would particularly involve."
The couple's decision was said to link to "William's unhappiness at the haphazard fashion in which the whole business of his royal destiny had buzzed around his head from the start."
