Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet will not be making a trip across the Atlantic to see their royal relatives anytime soon despite Prince Harry's alleged interest in buying a UK home, an expert claims.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped down from the Royal Family over three years ago and have since relocated to Montecito, California where they are working to create an independent life for themselves outside of the Firm.
However, recent reports suggest that Prince Harry is homesick and wants a taste of his old life back so badly that he is considering buying a property in the UK, the Express reports.
The 39-year-old prince has made trips back to England a handful of times this year for court hearings, his father King Charles' Coronation in May and his most recent one last month for the WellChild Awards.
However, Meghan has not been back to Britain since the late Queen Elizabeth's funeral in September last year with royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams suggesting it's unlikely she wants a life for her or her children in the UK.
He told Express.co.uk: "It does seem unlikely that Meghan will be visiting Britain any time soon. The same, in the short term anyway, applies to Archie and Lili.
"I see no substance to the rumour that Harry will split his time between the United States and Britain.
"He has serious concerns about security and still has a case pending against the Home Office regarding this which is awaiting trial.
"It is obviously important that there there is an arrangement, probably, though not necessarily with the Royal Family, which gives him a secure permanent base which he can use when he does visit Britain."
