Coronation Street star Sair Khan has asked her fans to wish her and her partner 'luck' as they take on a challenge before they become first-time parents. The actress revealed last month that she is pregnant with her first child.
Sair, known for playing Alya Nazir in the ITV soap, admitted she was feeling 'a real mix of emotions' as she posed up beside her partner Nathan Chilton to reveal the news. The mum-to-be wrote: "Hello… It’s been a little while since posting on here which has been a real mix of emotions.
"With all that is happening in the world, it didn’t feel like the right time to share but we also know it’s okay to keep hope and pray for peace whilst acknowledging that we feel blessed and grateful. Last year was a challenging time for us both with Nathan’s chondroblastoma surgery on his pelvis."

She added at the time: "It’s been a long road to recovery and still has many obstacles ahead as we deal with the spread of the tumour to his lungs. Life can be difficult and there’ll always be challenges to face but there are also important lessons to be learnt and gifts to be cherished."
Sair has now taken to social media to share a bit of a big life update ahead of her first baby's arrival. The 35-year-old took to Instagram to share a video of her and Nathan arriving at their new home which they said will be the "biggest project of our lives".
Sair showed Nathan opening up the door to the property before showing the inside at the beginning before they both got involved in the renovations before the video ended with Sair beaming for the camera
