Pep Guardiola is expecting Bayern Munich to come to the Etihad and show the big club that they are.
The Manchester City manager spent three years with the Bundesliga champions and while he set records domestically on his way to three league titles he suffered three consecutive Champions League semi-final defeats. They have won it since, but must defeat the Blues to progress in this year's competition.
Guardiola suggested City's issues in recent disappointments have been more down to conceding rather than scoring goals, but they may have their work cut out against a Bayern Munich side that have conceded just two goals in eight Champions League games to date including two shutouts against Paris Saint-German in the last round. The manager dismissed any ideas that Bayern could be content with a 0-0 at the Etihad as he said that the club he knew from his time there were expected to win everywhere.

"From my point of view, Bayern is not a team built to think about the second leg. It is built to come here and win," he said.
"From my experience there, it doesn't matter where you play you have to be Bayern Munich and you have to play to win. If they defend more than usual, it is because we are playing well.
"But I don't know what's going to happen tomorrow."
