Legendary former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger believes Manchester City have a slight advantage over Real Madrid going into next month's Champions League semi-final.
Pep Guardiola's side knocked Bayern Munich out in the last eight after advancing 4-1 on aggregate with a 1-1 draw in Germany following City's comfortable first-leg victory. The night before, the Spanish side secured their spot in the semis with a win over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
It is the third time that the two teams have met in the final four, and, for City, a chance at revenge after being beaten in both previous encounters, including during last season's competition. Wenger believes Guardiola and company have an edge this time, though, with the pundit leaning towards an AC Milan vs City final in Istanbul.

"I would say, at the moment, I would give Milan a little advantage and City a little advantage because of defensive stability," Wenger said on beIN SPORTS, "and maybe Real Madrid is a bit more vulnerable defensively. But Real Madrid is Real Madrid. They can score against anybody, and that's why this is very open."
City know about the reigning champions' ability to score at will more than most after conceding six across two legs last season.
Wenger is right that Guardiola has achieved more defensive stability as of late, though. The new-look defence has conceded just two goals during the Champions League knockout rounds, one being a consolation Joshua Kimmich penalty for Bayern and the other coming from the head of Josko Gvardiol after a wide free-kick from RB Leipzig.
