A person has died after a tragic incident at a nightclub in Manchester.
Paramedics from North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) were called to Via, in Canal Street, on Saturday evening (December 23) to reports of a person suffering a cardiac arrest. Sadly, they have since died and a file has now been passed to the coroner following the tragic medical episode., the Manchester Evening News understands.
After emergency services arrived in Canal Street on Saturday evening, a police cordon could be seen after NWAS asked for assistance. It was removed by Sunday morning. No further details around the incident have been released.
