Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has reflected on his Manchester City side's performances so far this season.
City currently sit nine points clear of second place Liverpool after 23 league games played.
Still involved in both the Champions League and the FA Cup too, Guardiola will be hoping to claim more than one piece of silverware come May this year.
The former Barcelona man has transformed the Blues fortunes since his arrival, claiming three Premier League titles and four League Cups along the way.
But with work still to be done before celebrations can begin over title number four, Guardiola admitted he has been impressed with his team's consistence this season.
'' We are consistent, like we have been in the last seasons. This is I think our huge quality; to be humble enough, to go into every game to try and do our game, and to know it will not be an exception," Guardiola told SoccerAM.
“Results are always random. But try to be consistent, and perform as best as possible — this is always the target, the results after will be a consequence. Try to do our best, our game, every game."
Guardiola also discussed how he can be happy despite his team not winning, as long as the correct level of performance is still there.
“I’m more concerned when we don’t play properly good," he added.
"That makes me feel, ‘Okay, something we have to review’, or ‘What do we have to do to come back to our best’."
“But in football, you can play excellently and not win, and play not good and win. The feeling, the satisfaction for a result; it takes five, 10, 15 minutes, but what remains stable in the future is the confidence in the performance. This is what we have to try to maintain."
