Pearl Jam Announce Tour and New Album Gigaton

New York experimental quartet altopalo have announced their sophomore album. It’s called farawayfromeveryoneyouknow and it arrives April 24 via Samedi. Ahead of the new record, they’ve shared the new single “honey,” as well as a string of North American tour dates. Pearl Jam unveiled its upcoming 11th studio album “Gigaton” today at NeueHouse in Los Angeles during an intimate playback in Dolby Atmos sound — complete with frontman Eddie Vedder pouring tequila shots for attendees while the music blared. As previously reported, “Gigaton” will be released March 27 on the band’s Monkeywrench imprint through Republic, and is preceded by the Talking Heads-tinged first single “Dance of the Clairvoyants,” which dropped earlier this week.

The Hall of Famers have dropped “Dance of the Clairvoyants,” the first track lifted from their much-anticipated eleventh studio album Gigaton.Due out March 27, Gigaton will mark the Seattle rock legends’ first album since 2013's Grammy winner Lightning Bolt, a full eight years ago.Produced with Josh Evans, “Dance of the Clairvoyants” isn’t your typical slice of Pearl Jam.
