Paulo Dybala is set to leave Juventus on a free transfer at the end of the season.
Manchester United held talks to sign Dybala in 2019 when opening dialogue with Juventus over a possible swap deal involving Romelu Lukaku. Dybala received assurances over his future at the Italian club instead and Lukaku moved to Inter Milan for £74m.
Dybala, 28, has failed to reach an agreement over a new contract with Juventus and he's now set to leave as a free agent, putting an end to his seven years spent in Turin. The player's representatives will now open talks with other clubs, and United and Tottenham - who were both interested in the player three years ago - have both been linked to Dybala yet again.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Edinson Cavani are the only recognised strikers at United and the latter is set to leave at the end of the season while uncertainty surrounds Ronaldo's future, with United's Champions League hopes recently taking a significant blow.
United will look to sign a centre-forward this summer but Dybala doesn't exactly have the profile of a prolific striker. Dybala is not a traditional centre-forward, however, he has managed to score 13 goals across 29 appearances this season.
It's believed United are unlikely to reignite their interest in Dybala, three years after they were in talks for the player. Dybala's fresh links to United and Tottenham this week could be explained by both clubs' interest in 2019.
