Tottenham's Hugo Lloris has claimed Cristiano Ronaldo is 'difficult to control' following Manchester United's win on Saturday.
United beat Tottenham 3-2 at Old Trafford in the Premier League on Saturday evening in a game that promised to have huge ramifications on the race for top four. United moved back up to fourth in the table after securing the important three points, however, Arsenal, who have four games in hand over the Reds, remain favourites to secure Champions League football.
Regardless, the result was the perfect response from United after the Manchester derby defeat. Ronaldo scored a hat-trick in the match after being absent last weekend and that was also the ideal response from the player on an individual basis.

Ronaldo hasn't been at his best since the New Year but Lloris admitted Tottenham couldn't cope with him on Saturday.
“I think we had a good team performance, even if we can do better with the goals we conceded," Lloris told Sky Sports.
"We know at this level it’s all about details. Cristiano Ronaldo also helped a lot today to get United the result. It’s painful because we feel we deserve better. But in football you always get what you deserve and we now need to focus on next week.
“I think [Ronaldo] was at his best, very aggressive in the box. It’s difficult to control him, but when you concede set pieces you need to look for that. The second goal is from a cross and we could have defended it a bit better.
"For the first goal, when you give him a little bit of space he can do what he did."
