Pep Guardiola hailed the impact of Oscar Bobb for lifting Manchester City to victory over Sheffield United.

Guardiola knew that City would need a different strategy to get past Sheffield United given they were without Erling Haaland, who had opened the scoring in the reverse game at Bramall Lane. Despite Bobb's inexperience, the Norwegian proved to be just what his manager was looking for.
"The first half was a little bit flat, everything was flat and we lift in the second half, especially with Oscar," said Guardiola. "He helped us to increase our rhythm and movements to the byline.
"He is really good in small spaces like Phil, Bernardo [Silva] and Rico [Lewis]. Erling is not there and [Ilkay] Gundo[gan] is not anymore so we don’t have a specialist for the crosses.
