A bombshell report about Meghan Markle and Prince Harry is shedding light on the couple’s plans in Hollywood, which have seemingly hit a roadblock.
Earlier this month, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex parted ways with Spotify, where Meghan hosted her podcast Archetypes. As a result, it was not renewed for a second season.
The Wall Street Journal spoke to several sources close to the couple, Spotify and Netflix (the home of their mega-hit documentary Harry & Meghan) about what was going on behind the scenes.
In the process, they learned quite a bit. More specifically, the report included details about a pop icon who turned down an Archetypes interview, the star Prince Harry was considering co-hosting a podcast with, scrapped Netflix projects and more.
It even included information about if the duo’s Netflix partnership was safe.

Variety can reveal that after a months-long process, IPSO found that the “Grand Tour” host’s column breached Clause 12 of the regulator’s Editors’ Code of Practice, which relates to discrimination. The case marks the first time in its nine-year history that IPSO has upheld a complaint on the basis of sexism. As a result, The Sun has been instructed to publish a summary of the regulator’s findings in the spot where Clarkson’s column regularly appears in the print edition, and reference the decision on its front page and website homepage for 24 hours — something the tabloid hasn’t been forced to do since 2016, when its front-page “Queen Backs Brexit” splash was found to have breached press regulations.
