Australian soap Neighbours has been on our screens since 1985, and throughout that time, UK fans have become fixated with the lives of the Ramsay Street residents. So much so, that it's achieved icon status alongside some of Britain's most popular (and iconic) soaps, like Coronation Street, EastEnders and Emmerdale. But it's not just ordinary members of the public who call themselves Neighbours fans - there are many celeb devotees, too.
Some of whom even managed to sneak their own appearances on the show, whether it was to meet their favourite actors or to experience the set first hand. From Lily Allen to Emma Bunton, let's take a look at some of the best Neighbours celebrity cameos you may have forgotten ever happened... Lily Allen As a self-confessed Neighbours fan, musician turned actor Lily Allen was able to practice some of her acting skills back in 2009 when she briefly appeared in the soap.
The star appeared as herself, and took up the opportunity to drop in to the set while she was in Melbourne touring her second album, It's Not You, It's Me.
During the short cameo, Lily was interviewed by a then 17 year old Matthew Werkmeister, who played Zeke Kinsk, the host of PirateNet radio station. She also performed her song 22 for the studio audience. Emma Bunton Two years before Lily, Emma Bunton - aka Baby Spice - made her Neighbours cameo.
It came as the soap was filming in London, when characters Dr Karl and Susan Kennedy casually bumped into the Spice Girl. Emma got to witness Karl pop the question to Susan, however disaster struck when the ring was dropped from an open top London tour bus. Of course, Emma was on hand to save the day - finding and returning the ring to the couple.
