Manchester City will begin planning how to 'hurt' Sevilla on Monday ahead of the UEFA Super Cup final.
That's according to Nathan Ake who says City really want to claim the trophy for the first time in the club's history. Though the Blues won't be able to claim six trophies in 2023 after losing to Arsenal on penalties in the Community Shield, they can still add new pieces of silverware to the cabinet with the Super Cup and Club World Cup in December. City will take on Sevilla in Athens after the La Liga outfit repeated their famous party trick of winning the Europa League once again, overcoming Roma in the final.
The two teams were drawn in Group G together in last year's Champions League group stage and City emerged comfortably victorious from both fixtures. They won 4-0 in Spain before defeating them 3-1 at the Etihad.

Despite that success, Ake says City won't be resting on their laurels and will begin to study their opponents to devise a way to beat them again from Monday.
"Today was very important, first of all," the Dutchman said after the opening-day victory over Burnley. "Now we can look forward to the next one.
"The club has never won it (Super Cup). We are in a position to do it. Yeah, why not? We want to win it for sure. Bring it to the club and for ourselves as well. It is something we have never won.
