A mum says had to abandon a 'freezing' hotel room in the middle of the night with her daughter after they found a bed bug and stained sheets. Chantelle Murray and her seven-year-old daughter Lacey lasted less than an hour in their room which she says also had no running water.
Last week the mum from Glasgow had visited Blackpool for a dance competition which her daughter Lacey was involved in. Chantelle had also travelled down with her two sisters and had booked a four night stay at the North Ocean Hotel in North Shore.

According to Chantelle the windows in her room didn't close properly, leaving her and Lacey in the freezing cold. She also claimed to have found a bedbug as well as alleged blood stains on the pillow and urine stains on the mattress.
Chantelle told LancsLive: "We arrived in Blackpool on the Thursday at around tea time. It took four trains to get from Glasgow to Blackpool so we went straight to the hotel to drop our bags and get some food.
"When we arrived there were no staff available at hotel, meaning we had to call to find out room number and key we were advised staff would be back in at seven to sort out admittance to property. So we dropped off bags to the hotel and went to get food as we had been travelling all day."
After coming back from getting something to eat, the family went to settle down for the night. Chantelle says they spent less than an hour in the room because of all of the issues they found.
"When we looked around the room, we found that the bathroom sink had no running water. The windows were jammed open, meaning there was snow blowing into the room from outside. There were two electric heaters

Illumination/Nintendo/Universal’s Super Mario Bros Movie doesn’t need a mushroom to get bigger, it just organically is. Out of the gate today Wednesday, sans any Tuesday previews, the feature take of the classic game is looking at $26M, for what’s translating into a $86.2M 3-day, $127.5M Wednesday through Sunday haul. Interesting, even though its opening day was a Friday, Paramount/Sega’s Sonic the Hedgehog 2 had a $26.3M first day a year ago (that included Thursday previews). That film currently holds the 3-day record for a videogame feature adaptation with $72.1M, a benchmark which Super Mario Bros looks to squash.

The New York Post.Umberger, 33, and Ramirez, 25, died from “acute intoxication” from a mix of fentanyl, cocaine, ethanol, and other drugs, according to the New York City Medical Examiner’s office, which ruled both deaths homicides earlier this month. Ramirez was found dead inside a taxi on the Lower East Side in April of last year after being seen leaving the Ritz Bar and Lounge, a gay club in Hell’s Kitchen, with three unidentified men.His wallet and phone were missing, delaying notification, and his family later reported that his bank account had been emptied of about $20,000 through apps such as Venmo and Zelle. His credit cards were maxed out after being used to purchase items like expensive dinners and spa services. In January, an NYPD spokesman told ABC New York that a man, Andre Butts, had been arrested last June for using Ramirez’s credit card to buy two pairs of Nike sneakers for $544.38 at an upscale store in Manhattan’s SoHo neighborhood, just hours after Ramirez’s body was discovered. Umberger was last seen on Saturday, May 28, 2022 after a night out at the gay nightclub Q NYC, while in town for a work trip.

rule, which prohibits minors from receiving hormone therapies, puberty-blocking drugs, or gender confirmation surgery, was adopted on March 16, based on guidance from the Florida Department of Health. The Florida Board of Osteopathic Medicine is expected to adopt an identical rule later this month, and the state has already barred Medicaid from covering gender-affirming treatments for transgender adults wishing to transition. That guidance discourages transgender minors from transitioning — not only medically, but socially, warning medical practitioners that minors with gender dysphoria should not be allowed to present or dress in a manner that does not match their assigned sex at birth. But those restrictions are now leading some parents of transgender or nonbinary minors to consider fleeing Florida in order to ensure their children can present themselves as the gender with which they identify. One of those parents, Heather St. Amand, a Tampa Bay area resident whose lived in the state for nearly her entire life, says the state’s recent decisions targeting those who receive gender-affirming care is motivating her to leave the state, reports Tampa Bay area CBS affiliate WTSP.“For my daughter, if she hadn’t received gender-affirming care when she did, I don’t know that she would still be here,” St.
