Meryl Streep executive produced the movie, which debuted at this year’s SXSW Film Festival in Austin.“Sell/Buy/Date” is set to be released theatrically this fall in the hopes that the film can garner awards attention. After playing in theaters, it will stream exclusively on Fandor with a wider digital release to follow.Broadway veteran Sarah Jones (“Bridge & Tunnel”) directed the film in her feature debut.

Naked and Afraid alum Melanie Rauscher died earlier this month at age 35 while dog-sitting in Arizona.

The Discovery Channel show contestant had been staying in a guest room in the house while the homeowners were out of town, according to TMZ.  Fox News Digital contacted the Prescott Police Department, but a spokesperson was unavailable for comment.

A two-time contestant from Naked and Afraid has died under what has been described as “mysterious circumstances.”

Melanie Rauscher is said to have died aged 35 after being found at her friend’s home on Sunday 17 July. Melanie rose to fame on reality TV show Naked and Afraid, where she featured on two seasons – the first in 2013, and then on its spinoff series, XL, two years later. She's thought to have featured on the spinoff series again in recent years.The late TV star had been dog sitting for friends at their home in Arizona at the time of their passing, with them returning to find Melanie dead in their guest bed.
