Bad Religion have cancelled the remainder of their European and UK tour due to a “family emergency”.The band had been scheduled to perform at the Rebellion Punk Music Festival in Blackpool tomorrow (August 4) before returning to London to play at House Of Vans on Saturday (August 6).A run of European dates were then set to take place between August 8 and 19, concluding with a gig in Oberhausen, Germany.Taking to social media this week, however, Bad Religion announced that these shows will no longer go ahead as planned.“There has been a family emergency within the band, and as a result, we must cancel the remainder of our UK and European tour dates for this year,” their statement read.“We apologise for any inconvenience, and thank you for your patience and understanding.” You can see the post below.A post shared by Bad Religion (@badreligionband)The group are due to return to the road in the US in September for a string of festival appearances, including Riot Fest and Louder Than Life. Tony Dow, the American child actor who went on to direct 24 episodes of the British sitcom Only Fools and Horses, has died aged 77. Although well known as Wally Cleaver on the US sitcom Leave It to Beaver in his younger days, he came to Britain and directed some of the best loved shows of Only Fools, including Yuppy Love, containing the bar-flap incident voted the country's favourite comedy moment. His death was confirmed by Frank Bilotta, who represented Dow in his work as a sculptor, in an email to the Associated Press.

Actor Tony Dow is still alive, it has been confirmed, despite his wife issuing a statement confirming the Leave it to Beaver star's death. According to TMZ, the actor, producer and director best known for playing Wally Cleaver on the hit American sitcom is still alive, but is in his "last hours" as he receives hospice care for liver cancer. The confusion over his death reportedly came after his "distraught" wife Lauren believed he had died, and had informed his management.

Meryl Streep executive produced the movie, which debuted at this year’s SXSW Film Festival in Austin.“Sell/Buy/Date” is set to be released theatrically this fall in the hopes that the film can garner awards attention. After playing in theaters, it will stream exclusively on Fandor with a wider digital release to follow.Broadway veteran Sarah Jones (“Bridge & Tunnel”) directed the film in her feature debut.

Actor Paul Sorvino, has sadly died at the age of 83, his wife confirmed this evening.The talented performer, best known for starring in the mobster flick Goodfellas, is thought to have died with his wife Dee Dee by his side on Monday morning. Paying tribute to her husband in an emotional statement, his devastated wife wrote: “Our hearts are broken, there will never be another Paul Sorvino, he was the love of my life, and one of the greatest performers to ever grace the screen and stage.” Boasting a career that spanned almost five decades, the well-known actor starred in just shy of 50 films during his momentous career including Baz Luhrmann's 1996 hit Romeo + Juliet and 1995’s political thriller, Nixon.
