Following Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's accusations of racism toward their son by a Royal Family member, it has now been claimed the comments came from two people.
In 2021, the Duke and Duchess sat down with Oprah Winfrey for a bombshell interview, revealing details of their time in The Firm. One of their biggest bombshells was their claim that an unnamed Royal expressed "concerns" about "how dark" Prince Archie's skin would be.
Viewers were outraged by the allegation and calls were quickly made for the anonymous person to be named. Now, it has been reported by a royal author that Meghan allegedly named two family members in private letters she sent to King Charles.
The claim comes from Omid Scobie who is set to release his new Book Endgame, a "penetrating investigation into the current state of the British monarchy", according to its Amazon description. In a leaked copy of the book seen by The Sun he says Meghan alleged the two family members took part in "conversations" about her son.
The author claimed that he knows the names but "laws in the United Kingdom prevent me from reporting who they were." As such, neither names have been revealed in the book, the Mirror reports.
The letters Meghan wrote to Charles are said to have been sent in the spring of 2021, after she and Harry spoke to Oprah. The King is said to have wanted his return letters to express how he felt no "casual prejudice" had been involved.
According to the publication, Endgame will include claims that Meghan and Charles felt they had "both been heard" after exchanging letters. The book is set to be released on November 28.
