Manchester United have completed the installation of 'ground-breaking' Wi-Fi at Old Trafford to improve connectivity for match-going supporters.
The club partnered with Extreme Networks last year in a bid to improve the facilities at Old Trafford. Given the volume of people inside Old Trafford, getting online has been a real issue, as it remains to be across the country inside football stadia.
Ahead of the season opener, match-going United fans will be delighted to learn the club has completed their revolutionary upgrades, which should offer a far better experience for supporters. United say the changes will deliver the 'latest generation of wireless connectivity for fans attending the biggest domestic football stadium in England'.
Over 1,600 access points have been installed, the largest amount in the UK. Over 90 miles of cable has been laid, with seats temporarily removed and replaced around the ground to give fans the best access.

In order to access the service at Old Trafford, fans must select 'OldTraffordWifi', enter their email address and select 'connect' to access the internet.
