Manchester United face a potential battle with both Arsenal and Chelsea if they try to sign Monaco defender Axel Disasi, according to reports.
The 25-year-old is under contract at the French side until the summer of 2025, but speculation surrounds his future. Newcastle United are among the Premier League sides credited with an interest in the defender.
Disasi played every single game for Monaco in the French first division last season. But though United have been linked with a potential move for the defender, they could face competition for his services.

According to The Sun, United boss Erik ten Hag is aware of the defender, but the potential fee for the defender and the club's ongoing takeover issues are obstacles. A fee of around £34m has been mooted.
The report also states that both Arsenal and Chelsea are prepared to enter the fray. Though Arsenal's need for defensive reinforcements have been eased due to the arrival of Jurrien Timber, Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino wants to add to his squad and could move for the defender.
Elsewhere, United are reported to have lowered their asking price for midfielder Fred, after Turkish side Galatasaray increaed their offer for the Brazilian, according to Turkish outlet Fanatik. United are now said to want €12m [£10.4m] for Fred, with the Turkish side having made an €8m offer for the midfielder.
