Whisper it, but sunny skies have returned to Greater Manchester, with a largely dry week forecast by the Met Office across the city region.
And after the wettest July on record, temperatures are expected to make a welcome rise, according to meteorologists.
Official figures from The Met Office showed that Greater Manchester, Lancashire and Merseyside all had their wettest July on record last month - with more than twice the usual amount of rainfall.

Amid heavy downpours and dramatic thunderstorms, the region battled a number of flood alerts, with streets flooded, cars left submerged and even a sinkhole opening up in the middle of the road.
But the sun is out once again - and is forecast to remain for large parts of the week.
Temperatures, according to the Met Office, are expected to rise to as high as 22C on Wednesday, with 'very warm sunshine' forecast for Thursday, as the summer finally makes an appearance.
The Met Office said of Tuesday in the region: "Southern areas will see a fair amount of cloud during the morning, perhaps giving a few showers. Elsewhere it will be mainly dry with any early mist or fog lifting to leave sunny spells, these becoming more widespread later. Maximum temperature 18C."
Some 'late sunshine' is forecast into the evening, with a dry, clear night also expected.
Wednesday's forecast reads: "Any early fog will soon clear to leave a dry morning with some increasingly hazy sunshine. Cloud will thicken during the afternoon, with patchy fog and local drizzle developing. Maximum temperature 22C."
And the outlook for Thursday to Saturday is: "Hill and coastal fog will slowly lift to leave very warm
