It's fair to say many of us will be feeling a little hard done by after the weather we've had so far this summer. Manchester may be known for its rain, but it feels like there's been little respite from the grey skies of late.
However, when the sun does shine here in the rainy city, there's some brilliant spots where you can enjoy a refreshing pint and soak up the rays. With the sun making a brief appearance this week it means there's never been a more opportune moment to sit outside and enjoy some al fresco drinking in a relaxed atmosphere.

In the centre of the city, just minutes from everything from Piccadilly Train Station you'll find a series of secret streets, lush gardens and terraces, and some of the best independent food and drink.
