United confirm transfer strategy for remainder of the window
Erik ten Hag wants to keep Jonny Evans at Manchester United for the remainder of the season.
Evans, 35, rejoined United last month on a short-term contract after his deal at Leicester City had expired.
The defender appeared as a second-half substitute in United's friendlies with Lyon in Edinburgh and Athletic Bilbao in Dublin. Evans also started in the Under-21s' 3-1 defeat to Wrexham in San Diego.

United's squad to face Spurs revealed
Lisandro Martinez has travelled with the Manchester United squad for their Premier League match at Tottenham but Harry Maguire could be missing.
Martinez came off at half-time in the 1-0 defeat of Wolves on Monday night with an ankle problem but manager Erik ten Hag confirmed on Thursday he had trained.
Former United captain Maguire was absent when United arrived at Stockport Station on Friday afternoon. Ten Hag could name two goalies on the bench, despite the availability of a number of fringe players.
United won eight Premier League away games last season but prevailed over only one of the teams that finished in the top 12.
