A man had his sister in stitches after he told her he is going to have a son because he and his wife made a 'boys only pact'.
She explained how the pair who have not even managed to conceive yet are claiming to know the gender of their prospective child.
According to the Daily Mirror the sister says her "delusional" brother believes his future child is going to be a male - simply because he made his wife verbally agree to "only have boys".
She said on Reddit: "I looked at him puzzled and commented 'You know you do not get a say right?' He said yes but both him and his wife agree to only have boys… as if that agreement determines the sex of the child and not the speed of his sperm.
"I hope he only has girls. I feel like that is his karma to have a house full of women so he can learn to be a better man," she added.
"I love my brother and he white knights for feminist issues. He's super progressive so is his wife which was why this was a bit startling."
The woman says although her sibling "tries and he rages at overt sexism ", he is "actually quite sexist in his core. But seriously 'only boys' - he's delusional."
Some uders on the online platform laughed but others shared a thought for his possible future daughter.
One user said: "Is your brother Henry VIII."
Another user added: "Actually, I hope he only has boys. I wouldn’t wish a daughter to have a father who specifically didn't want her to be a woman."
A third user said: "Maybe they shouldn‘t have kids at all."
One more user added: "Don’t wish girls on him to fix him. That’s the message too many girls get and it’s not their job to fix clueless men."
