Officers investigating the dealing of drugs in Bury have arrested a man and seized suspected drugs following an early morning raid. Police searched a property at Thorne View, in Bury, on Wednesday morning (August 10).
A 27-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of Conspiracy to Supply Class A and B drugs. He is currently in custody being quizzed by officers from Greater Manchester Police.
Police also seized £4,700 in cash, a mobile phone, jewellery, designer clothes, an e-scooter and two motorcycles. The total estimated value of the goods was £10,000.

Police have said they are continually trying to fight drug dealing across the region and have asked anyone with any information about dealings across Bury to get in touch with them.
Sergeant Graham Whittaker, of GMP's Bury district, said: "We are all too aware of the impact drug dealing has on our communities and are committed to fighting this type of crime. Today's action is just one example of the work we are doing.
"Intelligence is key to preventing and reducing crime so I'd ask anyone with information about drug dealing in Bury and beyond to contact Greater Manchester Police or Crimestoppers."
