A 21 year old man has been charged in connection with the murder of Tyson Fury ’s cousin Rico Burton, after he was fatally stabbed in Greater Manchester on Sunday morning, Greater Manchester Police has confirmed. Liam O’Prey of no fixed abode, has been remanded in custody and will appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates’ Court on 24 August, after being arrested following the death of Rico Burton, who was the cousin of world heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury.
Rico sadly died after being stabbed outside a bar in the Goose Green area of Altrincham, Manchester in the early hours of Sunday morning. Emergency services were called to the scene around 3.30am following the incident and are believed to have attempted CPR.
Sadly however their attempts at resuscitation were unsuccessful and Rico died shortly after their arrival.
