Tyson Fury's cousin's funeral sees mourners arrive on horse-drawn carriages

Mourners paid their respects to Tyson Fury’s cousin earlier today as they attended the funeral of Rico Burton. Rico, 31, was fatally stabbed outside a bar in the Goose Green area of Altrincham, Manchester in the early hours of August 21. This morning, a service was held for Rico at St Michael's Church in Urmston, Greater Manchester, with friends and family gathering to bid an emotional farewell to the boxer.
As they made their way to the church, mourners could be seen wearing black T-shirts that featured a picture of Rico’s face in a poignant tribute to the late sportsman. Prior to the service taking place, mourners could also be seen arriving on a series of carriages and trailers, with Rico’s coffin being pulled by a horse-drawn carriage. Meanwhile a red open back trailer could be seen carrying a floral arrangement in tribute to the budding boxer, with a blue and white arrangement spelling out ‘Rico’ while a picture of the young man was pinned to a cream rose wreath.
Speaking to the Manchester Evening News, Steve Egan, chief coach at Jimmy Egan's Boxing Academy where Rico trained, said: “Rico was a lovely lad... (he) trained with us for five years, won two national titles, he was a fantastic boxer, a very relaxed and skillful boxer.” He added: “He could (have) gone a long way in the professional boxing ranks, lovely lad, always smiling. One of the nicest lads you could meet.
“We are all devastated by this very sad news and really feel for all the family.
