Emergency crews have raced to the scene of a crash on a major Scots road.
All lanes northbound on junction five of the M80 near Auchenkilns have been restricted after the smash at around 7.50am this morning.
Commuters have been warned of 'extremely heavy' traffic in the area.
It is unclear at this time whether there have been any serious injuries from the crash.
Police have been called to the scene.
Traffic Scotland has advised drivers to be aware of the incident and the heavy build-up of traffic as a result- and advised using alternative routes.

"Traffic is extremely heavy on approach."
