The actress was joined at the event by co-stars Zachary Levi, Asher Angel, and Jack Dylan Grazer, plus director David F. Sandberg, on Saturday morning (July 23) at the convention center’s Hall H in San Diego, Calif.
The trailer for the movie was unveiled during the panel and Lucy also opened up about playing Kalypso in the sequel.
“I enjoy playing a goddess, there is nothing like it. To be part of the DC world is the most important thing that has happened in my career. To be here now and woman of color and having this wonderful career that I’ve had, it was an honor to be part of something this special. It’s a universe we could all relate to because we all want to belong. It’s place where I feel like I’m home,” she said.
