Love Island star Samie Elishi has been branded 'entitled' by fans after publicly complaining about not being able to use her mobile phone due to her network provider.
The reality TV star, 23, who appeared on the winter edition of the ITV2 dating show in 2023, went on a lengthy rant on Instagram, saying she has "no phone" and hitting out at a customer service assistant who she had spoken to about her situation. Samie wrote: "Currently have no phone going into the new year because O2 UK is an absolute joke.
Even after speaking to their 'very helpful' supervisor for over an hour they're still able to do absolutely nothing over something that has nothing to do with me." She continued: "Their solution to the problem is 'you have to wait ten days'. As a young girl with no phone or no way to contact anyone during an emergency I think that is just bizarre.
"I can't even change providers today because they're currently 'working on the account' and have been for two days and it will take up to ten. I'm unable to receive or make phone calls or texts and I have no internet either." Samie then defended her complaint, adding: "I'm never normally a Karen but this is for the people who are thinking about taking out a new contract in the new year." Fans were unimpressed by Samie's rant, with some branding her "entitled" while others criticised her for her complaints about the customer service assistant.
One person wrote: "Call the police!, ring the alarm!! Samie is without phone. Sorry but I really hope she is not in All Star please," while a second said: "Publicly naming a low level employee because you are having a problem is really entitled." A third Instagram user said: "Tell me you've never had to take a job without telling me.
