Just one year after making her TV debut in the Winter 2023 series of Love Island, former contestant Rosie Seabrook has given up on the hope of finding love in the UK after failing to meet her perfect partner on the show. Packing her bags in the hope of finding her dream date overseas, Rosie has swapped her British city life for celebrity hot-spot Dubai after falling in love with the sun-soaked lifestyle that is a far cry from her former London home.
Taking to social media to document her first week in the United Arab Emirates, Rosie explained just how different things had been.
She confessed that her nights out in the celebrity hotspot often end a lot earlier than they did in London, with most party nights ending at 1 or 2am, rather than the 4am she was used to. Another added bonus to her new life is that Taxi rides are “so cheap” and make getting around a breeze, while also adding that she regularly orders food in as it is so purse-friendly.
One set back however, was that Rosie did admit she struggled to top up her tan in the region because of how low the UV index is. “The UV index is so low out here, by the time it’s like 3pm - it’s honestly between 1 and 2,” she lamented in a recent TikTok post.
“It’s so bad you cannot tan.” Rosie also revealed that there was no such thing as overdressing in Dubai, as “people really dress up out here” and were keen to show off their stylish outfits no matter the occasion.
The star then went on to conclude: “Everything here is just so aesthetic.
The lifestyle is better out here in my opinion." Rosie, 25, first shot to fame on the ninth series of the hit ITV dating show, which aired in January last year, when she entered the villa as a late arrival on day 39 of the competition. Instantly
