Emmerdale fans have rumbled that Naomi could die in a shock twist - as she discovers Alex's true motive. Alex arrived in the Dales as the ex of Dawn Taylor, and immediately set to work in involving her in his crimes. Dawn felt forced to get involved with his drug dealing, with him even threatening their child over the things that had happened in the past.

A recent episode of Emmerdale has caused a strong reaction among fans, with many sharing that they have grown frustrated with two specific storylines. Fans have been left particularly annoyed at the storylines surrounding Naomi Walters and her romance with Alex Moore, and Amy Wyatt's rocky romance with Matty Barton. An Emmerdale star has seemingly confirmed Caleb's true identity after dropping a clue about the character. Actress Jessie Elland, who plays Chloe in the popular soap, has made a comment about if she thinks her character will meet her dad in the show after Caleb, played by Will Ash, arrived in the Dales saying he was Cain's brother. Asked about Chloe getting to meet her dad one day, actress Jessie told the Mirror: "I don't know if we will but I think it would be really interesting," but when asked if Caleb was her dad, she remained coy.

Emmerdale star Laura Norton has announced the birth of her second child with fiancé Mark Jordon.

Emmerdale's 50th anniversary episode on a big cliffhanger with multiple lives hanging in the balance as a windstorm took hold of the village. On Sunday night (October 16), an hour-long edition of Emmerdale to mark the soap's five decades on air saw Kim and Will's wedding finally take place.
