ITV Emmerdale Marlon Dingle star shares sweet message as cast member leaves despite viewer demand

Emmerdale star Mark Charnock has shared a sweet message with one of the soap's cast members after her last scenes aired on the ITV soap. It was an emotional day in the Dales on Monday (April 25) was Marlon Dingle was able to return home from hospital.
There was shock and tears last month when the beloved character suffered a stroke. It was an exciting time for Marlon and partner Rhona as the pair had both planned to propose. After both getting down on one knee in The Woolpack, their excitement soon turned to horror when a giddy Marlon rushed home to pick up Rhoan's engagement ring which he had accidentally forgotten.
As he rustled around for the sparkler, Marlon's frightening health battle began when he realised something was wrong as his vision became blurred, before he looked in the mirror and realised his face had drooped on one side and he was unable to speak despite desperately running through his thoughts in his own head.

He was then found collapsed on the floor by his terrified young daughter April before he was rushed to the hospital where nurses confirmed he suffered a stroke and needed to undergo emergency surgery to remove the blood clot on the left side of his brain.
Emmerdale fans have since watched as Marlon's journey to recovery began, seeing the impact the challenge not only has on the chef but on his family, including Rhona, April, and best mate Paddy Dingle.
