Over the past few days, certain royal titles have been re-arranged by King Charles. It was confirmed today that his younger brother, Prince Edward, has been handed the title of Duke of Edinburgh, which his late father Prince Philip used to hold.

King Charles has bestowed an unforgettable birthday honor on his younger brother, Prince Edward. On Friday, Queen Elizabeth's youngest child rang in his 59th birthday and, in celebration of the occasion, the new monarch granted him their late father, Prince Philip's, former title, the Duke of Edinburgh. «His Majesty The King has been pleased to confer the Dukedom of Edinburgh upon The Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex and Forfar, on the occasion of His Royal Highness’s 59th birthday.  The title will be held by Prince Edward for His Royal Highness’s lifetime,» a Buckingham Palace press release read. «The Dukedom was last created for Prince Philip in 1947, upon his marriage to Princess Elizabeth, who held the title of Duchess of Edinburgh before acceding to the throne in 1952.»Prince Philip died in April 2021 at the age of 99.

Oscars have reportedly blocked a request from Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to speak during the ceremony.The 95th Academy Awards takes place in Los Angeles on Sunday (March 12). Prince William, Kate Middleton, King Charles and Camila, Queen Consort, all opted not to attend the christening of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's daughter, Lilibet, despite being invited to the private ceremony.A spokesperson for Harry and Meghan confirmed to ET that an intimate ceremony was held last week at their home in Montecito, California, for the couple's 21-month-old daughter. «I can confirm that Princess Lilibet Diana was christened on Friday, March 3, by the Archbishop of Los Angeles, the Rev.
