King Charles gave a cheeky three word reply to Queen Camilla after she gave him an order during their balcony appearance, a lip reader has claimed.
The monarch appeared on the Buckingham Palace balcony with his family by his side for his first ever Trooping the Colour parade as King.
The royals watched the magnificent RAF flypast, which featured around 70 separate military aircrafts and took place on Saturday, June 17 at around 1pm, the Mirror reports.
Thousands of fans gathered for the historical event and as the recently-crowned King and Queen stepped out, eagle eyed watchers noticed Camilla putting a hand on Charles' shoulder and pulling him back slightly.
Lip reader Jeremy Freeman, who also noticed the interaction, has claimed that as Camilla moved him back, she actually gave him an order.
The expert claims that Queen Camilla said to her husband: "Don't walk away, you know I can't walk on my throne/own."
To which, Charles replied: “Oh deary me.”
On Saturday's event, Charles became the first monarch in over 30 years to appear on horseback during the Trooping the Colour service.
It was the first time a reigning monarch has ridden at the annual event since Queen Elizabeth's beloved horse Burmese carried her for the last time during the 1986 ceremony.
Charles took the royal salute as Colonel in Chief of the Household Division's seven regiments during the ceremony, staged on Horse Guards Parade, as members of the royal family and 8,000 spectators watched.
