Phoebe Bridgers has announced her sophomore solo album: Punisher is out June 19 via Dead Oceans. Back in 2011, Baths released Pop Music / False B-Sides, a collection of tracks that did not make the cut for his 2010 debut Cerulean. Now, he’s back with a sequel: Pop Music / False B-Sides II features songs that were considered for 2013’s Obsidian and 2017’s Romaplasm. (Sandy) Alex G has shared a new song titled “rosebush.” The largely-instrumental track is accompanied by video that contains a short story about a woman named Joanna, three yowling grey cats, and the titular rosebush. Laura Marling has announced she has moved up the release date of her new album, Song for Our Daughter. Originally slated for a summer release, the record will now arrive April 10 via Partisan/Chrysalis. “In light of the change to all our circumstances, I saw no reason to hold back on something that, at the very least, might entertain, and at its best, provide some sense of union,” she wrote in a statement. Bad Bunny has shared a brand new music video for his YHLQMDLG track “Yo Perreo Sola.” The visual, directed by Stillz and Benito Martinez, finds Bad Bunny chained to thrones (while wearing a kilt), donning full drag, performing on top of a car in a field of dancing flowers, and more. Craig Finn, frontman for the Hold Steady, has announced a new album called All These Perfect Crosses. He’s also shared its title track. The LP was recorded during Finn’s sessions from his most recent solo album, last year’s I Need a New War. The double album arrives June 20 (via Partisan) for the recently rescheduled Record Store Day. Former Frog Eyes leader Carey Mercer has announced his new band Soft Plastics. It’s called Innocent Country 2 and it arrives April 24 via Mello Music Group. He’s also shared a new track from the record, titled “LIVING HAPPY” (featuring Chicago’s Joseph Chilliams and New Orleans-based rapper Cavalier).
