Alison Mosshart (of the Kills and the Dead Weather) has shared a new single. It’s her first solo song under her own name. Listen to “Rise” below.
Mosshart said in a statement that she began writing the song in 2013, “sitting at [her] desk in London, missing someone badly.” She ended up recording “Rise” in Los Angeles with producer Lawrence Rothman.
