Jewish leaders in Greater Manchester say they are working alongside police on security operations after Israel came under attack.
The Community Security Trust said it hadn't seen an increase in anti-Semitic incidents so far in Greater Manchester, but stressed a historical link between spikes and conflict in the Middle East.
A spokesman said the trust was working with Greater Manchester Police. The charity works with Jewish communities to provide safety and security, and offer advice. Outside of London, Greater Manchester has one of the highest Jewish populations in the country.

The Jewish Representative Council of Greater Manchester, meanwhile, said it was 'concerned' about videos of people apparently celebrating on the streets. Police patrols have been increased in London after the videos emerged, which a Government minister said was 'glorifying the terrorist activities of Hamas'.
